Sunday Shot Sweden

Järnpojke

Järnpojke (Iron Boy), also known as “the boy who is looking at the moon” is the smallest statue in Stockholm. It’s a 15 cm statue of a boy designed by Liss Eriksson. It’s hidden behind the Finnish Church in Gamla Stan and I have seen last Sunday for the first time, even though I’ve been living in Stockholm already for 18 months. During winter, the Iron Boy is usually wearing a hat or scarf. And of course, there’s a legend saying that if you rub his head you will return to Stockholm
